If it's a brand new piece of hosiery or it's been unused for a long time, it might need some moisture, so give it some fresh tap water all over first. Always "wake up" your hosiery before using it by stretching it by holding it from toes and waist. Put on carefully, avoiding jewellery and nails on both hands and feet.
